Over two experiment lessons in science this experiment didn't quite work. Spud guns are a straw with potato in both sides the point of a spud gun isn't for shooting people in the face but to see who can shoot the furthest. How do the gun's work? You can make go as far as you want depending on how much pressure is put into the straw but if the potato isn't soft enough for your straw to jab it in the straw will get all damage the straw and the potato won't shoot out as well. I bet some of our class was very disappointing that this experiment didn't work but some things in life don't work out as you expected.
